Elbow Pain

Home > Elbow Pain

Elbow pain can be caused by muscles, tendons, and joints. When you bend your arm, you will be able to feel some bumps on your elbow joint. When the tendons that anchor muscles to these two bumps on either side of the elbow are injured, it can be a common cause for acute elbow pain. The most common types of elbow pain are the ‘Tennis elbow’ and ‘Golfer’s elbow’. They are both similar overuse injuries. They are indeed common and there are first-aid suggestions, but if the symptoms don’t improve and if the elbow pain comes in repeating cycles, then only expert physiotherapists can help in recovery.

Different Symptoms of Elbow Pain

  • There is a dull ache in the elbow at rest
  • Pain while making a fist
  • Pain when opening the fingers
  • Soreness around the affected elbow bump
  • Lack of grip and difficulty in stretching arms
